Can I choose the exact make and model of car?

Every effort to made to provide the reserved model of vehicle, however, it is impossible for us to guarantee that a specific model will be provided. If the make/model of vehicle that you booked is not available then the rental agent will supply a suitable alternative from the same vehicle group classification or from a larger group.

What documentation do I need for vehicle rental?

On collection of your car or van, you will need to take your rental voucher, which you will have received via email on reservation. A full valid driver's licence for a minimum of 2 years and a major credit card held in the drivers name is required. Please note that an International driving licence/permit is only acceptable when supplied with a licence from your permanent residency. You must retain all your rental documents if you have a query regarding your reservation.

How do I confirm a car rental booking?

A reservation is confirmed once credit card details have been supplied and after receive a reservation voucher. Please note that the voucher must be produced on collection of your vehicle.

Does the car rental agreement include insurance?

If you are hiring a car in the UK, Europe, South Africa, New Zealand and Australia your car rental agreement will include cover for: CDW (Collision Damage Waiver), otherwise known as LDW (Loss Damage Waiver), Third Party Liability and Theft. There may be an Excess on the CDW and Theft part of the rental agreement. Sometimes car rental providers will offer a ‘zero excess’ policy. If you want to reduce your excess to zero you can do so at the car rental counter when you collect the vehicle or via a 3rd party company. If you are hiring the car in the USA, Canada, the Caribbean or South America, it is most often the case that your car rental will not include insurance. You must purchase CDW (Collision Damage Waiver)/LDW (Loss Damage Waiver) and Supplemental Liability Insurance. This is sold at the car rental counter and typically costs around US$20 and US$30 a day.
